♦GREENWOOD SPRINGS PARK – Section 7, accessible from Stratford Circle, has a playground, picnic tables, restrooms and a paved path for walking, skates or bikes.
♦ SWEETBRIAR POOL – Located in Sweetbriar Park. From the front gate, turn right on Lakeview Parkway to Yorktown Blvd. Follow Yorktown Blvd to Freedom Road (on right) and follow the signs to Sweetbriar Park.
♦ HOLLYFIELD PARK – Section 9, accessible from Yorktown Blvd. – Tennis, Baseball, Playground, and restroom.
♦ SPOTSWOOD PARK – Section 14, off of Lakeview Parkway, – Swings, Picnic Tables, Shelter, Charcoal Grills.
♦ SWEETBRIAR PARK – Section 10, off of Freedom Rd – Pool, Playground, Picnic Shelter, Picnic Tables and soccer fields – Community Center

TROLLEY TOURS OF FREDERICKSBURG -Tours for the daily downtown trolley start at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, located at 706 Caroline Street in Fredericksburg, Va. Tickets may be purchased online until 9:00 AM. Then same-day tickets are sold at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center. These tours take you back through time—from the days when the Native Americans hunted and farmed the area through the arrival of settlers from Jamestown, Yorktown and other far away lands in the 1600s, and on through the birth of our Nation and its growing pains during the Civil War era.

♦ LIBRARY OF CONGRESS PACKARD CAMPUS FOR AUDIO-VISUAL CONSERVATION – Set on a beautiful 45 acre campus with stunning architectural design and landscaping, the Packard Campus of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center is a state-of-the-art facility where the Library of Congress acquires, preserves and provides access to the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of films, television programs, radio broadcasts, and sound recordings. Want to see a free movie and learn more about this unusual theater – check out this link. The Packard Campus Theater programs events year round, usually on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. YOWELL MEADOW PARK/CULPEPER SKATE PARK, – Corner of Blue Ridge Ave and Route 522 North, Culpeper, Virginia 22701 – 540-829-8260, Dawn to Dusk. This easily accessible park in Downtown Culpeper offers aone-mile walking trail and a more adventurous nature trail, you can shoot some hoops, or play volleyball or tennis. Skateboarders will enjoy the modular ramps at the Skate Park Facility, recently renovated in 2013, including a 6ft mini, huge pyramid with ledges, banks, quarters, and 2 rails.
